And I Darken by Kiersten White
This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
The Mortal Instruments Volume 1 by Cassandra Clare and Cassandra Jean
My Hero Academia Volume 8 by Kohei Horikoshi
Aside from volume eight of My Hero Academia, the rest of the books were from a Secret Santa book exchange. I’m so happy to have them, because they’re books I’ve been eyeing but couldn’t justify buying. I have so many Victoria Schwab books I haven’t read, but there’s no harm in adding another one to the list. (right?)
I got another copy of And I Darken, so I’m not too sure what to do with it, but I am excited to read the series nonetheless. Although it’s nice to see City of Bones in a graphic novel format, I was expecting something along the lines of the Clockwork Angel manhwa, where one volume covers one book. The first volume only goes up to Clary’s conversation with Magnus Bane, which means that the original content will most likely be adapted more extensively. That probably means a lot more volumes than I’m willing to invest in at the time, so I’m pleased with just the first one.
